What kind of stories are these?

These stories can be about anything the Lord has done for you in your Life. Stories that others may find inspirational, helpful, edifying, and encouraging.

It could be something as simple as how God brought you through a hard time, or as powerful as your full Testimony.

Inspirational Stories & Testimonies can also display how God's power, grace, mercy & love are acted out in everyday life. They are also a great way to give the glory back to the Lord.

Please do not add copyrighted stories or anything that would be deemed inappropriate. Please see our Terms Of Use for more information.

How does recommending a story work?

You can only recommend a story ONCE per day and you cannot recommend your own story.

The author gets sent a PM letting them know that someone found his/her story inspirational, encouraging or helpful. This information is also used to help us better organize our stories.

Adding stories should NOT become a contest, but a way to give the Glory back to the Lord in showing how he has worked in your life.

I keep getting the message "Sorry, you cannot recommend your own story"?

To be fair, you cannot recommend your own story. If you are seeing this message and it is not your story, it could be that the author's IP and your IP addresses are the same, which could be from sharing same internet connection (same house). This can be fixed by logging into your account.

An IP (Internet Protocol) is your address on the web, kind of like your phone number for your current connection.

Wait, What?
To be able to allow people to recommend stories without being logged in, your IP address is compared to the story IP at creation. This allows people to Recommend your story without having to sign in, but this also means users on the same IP cannot recommend each other's stories, UNLESS you are logged in to your own account.

What happens when I delete one of my stories?

Your story will remain in the system until a story purge. When a story purge happens, all member stories marked for deletion from the system will be permanently removed.

Until that happens, this deleted story will still remain in your library, marked as "deleted" and will only be visible to you.

You can un-delete this story by clicking on the button "Un-Delete This Page", located at the bottom of the banned or removed heading box.
